So I was driving today and past my local Ford dealer. And there sittin in front was a brand new Red MACH1. I just had to stop and look at it. While I was looking at it and a salesman who was really into Mustangs came over and talked to me. He saw my 87 and asked me about it and we talked about the car. Then he asked me if I wanted to test drive the MACH1. So I definetly wasn't passing up the chance. So I got to rip the MACH1 around fun car.
He asked me if I was interested in buying it. I said I wish I could but I doubt I could afford it. He told me he'll see what he can do. So I gave him all my info and told him what I could afford as a monthly payment. He said he'd give me a call tom and see what he could work out. So wish me luck!

Nice dude!!! Hope all goes well with it. Even if you don't get it, at least your got to drive it. How does that thing handle compaired to your 87 beast?

HiFlow the car itself feels like all the New-edge Stangs feel to me which is big,heavy, and not as in touch with the road as compared to the Foxes. But when I really lead it into the turns in handles very well. I guess I just need to get use to the car itself.
The torque is definetly not there like my 87 but the 4V is really rev happy which is cool in a V-8. I really like the idea of having a new car.
I dont know who wants the car more me or my GF lol She thinks it's gonna be her ride.

Yea well to be honest she prob will get to drive it a lot. Cause it's either that or my 87. I will never ever let her drive that car, I don't wanna see her die. :grinno:

Ok well here be the deal. If I give a down payment of $4,000 I can get the payments I want and be able to afford the Mach1. So as of right now I have $2,200. So if they don't sell it with the next 2-3 weeks when I have the rest. I will be the proud owner of it, so I'll see how I guess I better hope no 1 buys it. lol
