Would this ECU trick work??

Hey guys I found this one:

1. Reprogramming ECU into giving you better gas milage after an upgrade
After you get a performance upgrade (i.e.. Headers, Exhaust, Intake, Etc..)
follow the following steps to reprogram your computer.
Turn on the car and warm it up (make sure that its at its normal idle)
Turn off the car an pull your ECU fuse located in the fuse box UNDER the hood
Keep fuse out for at least 5 min
Plug fuse back in and close hood
Start your car MAKING SURE NOT TO TOUCH THE GAS WHEN YOU START IT UP!!
Let the car idle (at its normal idle) for about 3-4 minutes
shut off car then restart
Thats it! Your CPU is programed to give so much air and so much gas. By
taking out the fuse you kill all power to your computer and reseting the
"program" that gives the mixture. Now by NOT TOUCHING THE GAS as you fire it
back up, it will reprogram itself to give you the best MPH as it can.

It works.

The ECU re-adapt itself to the new weather conditions.

I do it at the beginning of october and at the beginning of may.

ok it works when the car is cold because when the car is cold it reads from the ecu, but when the car is warm its reading from the sensors and shit so the little reprogammin u did, doesnt even matter.

once the ecu opens it doesnt matter
