Sick in summertime

Yuk. I have a cold. :( Colds are the worst in the summertime.

i drank a whole 2qt carton of OJ yesterday... been popping lots o' vitamins, too. and plenty of sudafed. :bloated:

I'm gonna drink a bunch of thera-flu when i get home tonight. :D

One thing that's kinda fun if you're sick (and it only really works if you are visibly sick, like coughing and hacking and sniffling and whatnot) is to go to the smoking section at work or whatever and light up a cigarette and say "That's the cool thing about smoking when you're sick... you can see exactly where all your germs are going." And then watch everyone try and avoid your smoke. :smokin:

I feel your pain, I had a sore throat a while back then a week later I got strep. It was awful!

When did all that happen to your car btw?

I hate summer colds! I've had post nasel drip (love that phrase) for a few days. It sucks.

Yes being sick in the summer is the worst, especially if you live in a really hot climate. Jay I feel your pain. My allergies have been acting up. In the morning I wake up with a stuffy head and sometimes a sore throat. And every once in awhile I get the nasty buring eyes, it likes to hit when I am driving :mad: It happened tonight on my way home from the mall (birthday shopping spree). I had to pull over for a few minutes because my eyes stung so bad I couldn;t see. I keep my AC at home pretty low so I can curl up under the blankets and forget that it's 117 outside :lol2:

i agree with you kat. no matter how hot it is outside, nothing feels better than wrapping up in a blanket
