Hi,

My check engine light still wont do away.
I used to have a battery light and i fixed it.
Put a new wiring harness in.
The problem is when you first start the car it will idle at like 900-1000 RPM then gradually move up to 1200 and stay there.
I have all the hoses in the right places.
Could it be my throttle postion sensor on the manifold?
Thanks

Which code is it? Pull back carpet in passenge foot area - turn ignition - count # of flashes? That will be of great assistance.

what code is it throwing, it very well might be your cold idle temperture valve. i think thats what its called i cant remember but mine was idling at 1200 i left it alone then it just worked its way to idling at around 2500 rpms. took it to my mechanic took about 15 min. to adjust.

I did this with the key in the ignition on the on position.
Car was not running I dont think this makes a difference.
Ok,
Well I got
7 flashes: Throttle Angle (its idles at 1200)
10 flashes: Intake Air Temp (my aftermaket short ram, correct?)
13 flashes: Atmospheric Temp (no clue what it means)
6 flashes: Coolant Temp (I think im low on coolant)

The one that catches my biggest attention is the throttle angle.
If you could help it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks A lot.
