Progress: Renault Megane 16v Coupe - Tuned

Started another model... Think I'm working on about 3 - 4 projects now :s ...

This one is a little different from my other models... I mostly build them stock / lowered / other rims ... This one is tuned out... spoilers here and there ...

Mix of Fujimi Megane and Aoshima Super Vip Woofer blahblah

Did you make that body kit out of dog shit? lol, just kidding man. Looks real cool. Is that Art putty like you get in school, My sister had some from school that looks like that. Keep it up!

Looks like you've got some pretty heavy bodywork going on there!! Can't wait to see more pics as you progress!!

Nope it's automotive putty from Motip... Looks like shit but it does the job :D

Nice progress. Good to see something different here, I haven't seen many Renaults before. You have much sanding with it hope it turns out well.

Here's the back and a partial side, sanded very rough... But it gives you an idea on how it needs to be..

Well, I'm again one step closer to the end. Got a little bored with sanding and filling, so I went back on experimenting with the final look... Here you see the preview of what the paint will be like... tried quick panel lines, but i totally fucked them up :D...

This is the overall look of the future car. But I have a feeling it's missing something to it... :confused: Maybe you guys have a suggestion?

Maybe a green or red line between those two colors. A pinstripe.

Maybe a small bobtail type spoiler on the rear,looks fine as is though.Never seen a tuned Renault before.Love it.

lol, just take a kit with lotsa spoilers and tune thingies(mine was the Aoshima VIP Super Woofer) cuts some parts of and glue it all to another kit... slap some putty on it and voila.... A wide body :D

with fear of sounding like a ricer, i reckon this car needs shopping list down the side of the door (or down the skirts). dont know why, i reckon it wouldn't look too out of place :biggrin:

No such thing as a Megane WRC, there was the Renault Megane Maxi though which was a kit car campaigned primarily in Europe, I am building one of those.

Tomaszken, your Megane is looking nice, I like the colors you've chosen.
Something about the Renault Megane I really like :smokin:

Well call me a ricer but i think a decal or two could do well on this car.
