I am building a 351w/393 stroker based engine for my '709 mustang and I have shaved my heads .030 and using a full roller setup and want to know if I can use a stcok length pushrod or if I will have to have special ones made for it? Thanks for any info that can be provided!

If the block was originally a roller block you should be able to use stock length pushrods. If it was not a stock roller block and you are using a retrofit cam or something of that nature you will need to measure for ya pushrods. Either way I would use a pushrod length measurer just to be sure. This will give you the exact length you need.
