3am.

I'm here at 3am. 3 fucking am. And why do you ask? Because I woke up about an hour go, and I haven't been able to stop thinking enough to go back to sleep. So, hello everyone! Oh wait...no one's here online. That's right. I think the number of online members is just one line long. Well, here I am! :wave:

And I'm not happy about it.

Well considering I get up every day at 4:15am I would be pretty pissed of also if i woke up at 3am !!!!!!!!!!!!! hell I need that extra hour of beauty sleep for sure for my ugly ass!!

Do what I do. Get yourself a nip of something that relaxes you such as hot chocolate, alcohol, milk, what ever. Pick something that is sooooooo boring to read or visit a real boring site and start to read. Should put you out in a short period of time.:smoka:

Well, as luck would have it, around 4am I finally fell asleep listening to the rain pound against my window. Ten minutes later I was woken up by the sound of some girls being very loud out on the stairs of my floor. My first thought, "Who the hell decided to get drunk and have a small party on the stairs outside my door?"...so I get out and find four freshman sitting on the stairs, all from the second and first floors. I started to ask them what they were doing (very nicely mind you because they are all really sweet girls) until I looked around me and realized that whole place was pitch black...THE FUCKING POWER WENT OUT! So...here the five of us were in our pajamas talking to each other. Apparently the light above my stairs on the third floor is the only one hooked up to an emergency back up generator, so they huddled around the light like flies. They were armed with flashlights and cellphones, for the reason that the phones weren't working (WELL...AHEM...MINE WAS! okay done now)...Apparently they were woken up by the circuit breaker down stairs, that when tripped started an alarm of sorts which consisted of a very loud buzz, that yes, could be heard softly all the way up on the third floor. So, carefully walking down two flights of stairs with only the eerie glow of the red exit signs (this made one girl uneasy as she had gone to bed after reading The Shining and woke up to see a red glow underneath her door from one of the exit signs)..we made our way downstairs, where we opened the front door and sure enough, the entire campus, and part of the town was out. So, they convinced me to throw on my shoes and grab a sweatshirt and head out with them as they walked around to just explore a bit. So, with four freshman in tow, and me in just my pjs I went walking with them...but first...LESSON...be sure to memorize the number of stairs you have in your house. Leaving the foyer to go the front door I had forgotten that we had three stairs, and thinking there was only two...I promply twisted my ankle and fell smack down on the floor. Of course I was laughing too hard to feel the pain..I mean, c'mon I was delerious from an incredible amount of frustrating lack of sleep. So there we were wandering through campus, in the pitch black. We didn't wander too far. Apparently there was only one other dorm that had an alarm on their circuit breaker like we did, and the only two residents that woke up were two drunken college freshman. :rolleyes: So...we made our way back to the dorm, I made my way cautiously up three flights of stairs with no light and I crawled back into bed (but not before I realized that during our walk the bottom of one leg of my pajama pants had gotten wet when I stepped into a puddle...a very cold discovery crawling into very cold sheets). So I layed there and attempted to go back to sleep, but found myself still thinking and eventually the house started to rumble as the power attempted to come back on. After about 15 minutes of listening to what sounded like demons in my walls, the power did come back on. Grr...which means I have to go to work. :mad:

Well, I'm up now...barely functioning on four fucking hours of sleep whenI could have had just over eight. Yes...it's one of those days. I think I'll go crank up the song, "Break Stuff"...

Sorry to hear about that. From the sounds of things you are a very light sleeper? Lucky for me, a car could smash through my wall, and I wouldnt wake up. When I sleep, I pass out and im almost in a coma. Alarms dont wake me, you have to get a stick and start poking me.

On topic...how bad did you twist your ankle? Bad enough that it hurts to walk?

Hope today goes well for you, and you able to catch some good zzz tonight.

Sorry to hear that your night didn't go too well :( I do know that feeling a little bit... Get some rest in the next few nights to make up for it :)

i couldnt sleep last night either, but for a differant reason, it was to damn hot!!

very humid.

If you are too hot and dont have air con like me...... pick up a small fan and have it blowing across you. works wonders

Thanks HuMMerMan. ;) As it turned out, while my ankle was pretty sore at first, I was able to walk it off, which is especially good since I dislocated a major tendon in that ankle not too long ago...didn't want a reoccurance!!

My day turned out pretty decent. Thanks again. :)

First of all, obviously you can't read as it was five girls. I suggest you go to a library right away and sign up for classes. Secondly, don't assume that girls in such a situation would be drunk, you're an ass for even considering it. And thirdly, do you know what the definition of rape is? That it includes sleeping with someone who is not in the right capacity of mind to make sound judgements for themselves? Apparently not. If you are too hot and dont have air con like me...... pick up a small fan and have it blowing across you. works wonders ive got a ceiling fan in my room that i installed myself cause i got tired of sitting in a hot room. it was 30$ at home depot. and i have a fan next to my bed that blows straight on me. something is messed up with the vent in my room. and plus my mom turns the ac off at night! i hate that. then she bitches at me for turning it on. im like how can you sleep with the thermostat on 80 friging degrees. she says it becuase they power bill is too expensive, im like well if you leave it at one constant temperature , it will save energy because it doesn't have to keep adjusting.
