Question on applying paint after...

Hi all. Today I painted an old chevy truck of mine torch red with PPG Omni MAE acrylic enamel. Yeah, I know cheap stuff, but I'm a beginner. I had to call it a day after 1 1/2 gallons used, to include painting under hood, jambs, and inside bed and the whole vehicle with several coats. I have another gallon of paint left, some reducer and hardener. The truck looks pretty good, but I think it could look better with some more paint on it .There are some thin or flat spots on the outside of the body, probably not too thin but some areas just dont have the shine that other areas have. My question is, will it be allright to just start painting over the body again tomorrow? If it is, do I need to do any prep work besides maybe tacking gently or should I forego that? Thanks

What grit would you recommend? And if you know, how would I go about buffing this acrylic enamel afterwards to bring out some more shine? Thanks

sounds like you went with a single stage. I`d allow the paint to cure for 30 days to harden and then i`d wet sand with 1200 grit. If you`ve never used a high speed buffer before than i`d advise seeking a professional. It`s very easy to burn through the finish. Might be worth the $150.00 i figure to leave it to someone with more experience.
