I hear this term often when it comes to describing waxes. What does this mean and is this different from a pure carnuba wax product?

polymer chemically bonds to the paint surface & fills light surface scratches better than carnuaba. Also lasts slightly longer. No wax is really pure carnauba wax, if it was it would be impossible to apply since it is such a hard substance. Polymer is usually called paint sealer rather than wax - both are the same generally - they protect the vehicles surface. As far as Polymer sealants go I use a product called Terminator II / Long Term Paint Sealant
