Beautiful

Okay ladies. Let's face it, we are our own worst critics. Looking through this forum is evidence enough of that. ;) I would almost guarantee that none of us would call ourselves beautiful. Beauty is the eye of the beholder, it just unfortunate that we don't appreciate it in ourselves more regularly. :( So...

Consider this a thread to attempt to change that. This is my small contribution. What do you like about yourself? Genuinely like and appreciate, whether it be physical or another attribute? No putting yourself down (we can all do that in our own time). Granted, sitting down and thinking about something that we genuinely like and appreciate about ourselves, without negative criticism might be initially difficult...but I truly believe that there is beauty in everyone.

I'll start. I'll admit that this evening, I have hit rock bottom in self-esteem. Don't ask me why, but I wil tell you this. This morning I woke up and actually felt beautiful, inside and out. And I did for much of the day. So, what do I like about myself? I like the generosity of my heart that people have told me is reflected in my smile. I like my wrists. And I love knowing that I'm loved.

ack.....well thankfully when i feel down all i have to do is look at my Shawn with almost-to-tears-puppy-dog-eyes and he wraps his arms around me and tells me everything i could ever need to hear *sigh*

I love that! he is one of my best attributes(scary i never thought i would EVER! say that about a man!!!!)

but as far as i am concerned my nose is awfully nice to be stuck on my face! and i have been told that my eyes are sexy, dark, exotic, gorgeous(thank you my Italian Great Grandparents!) and i like my big full pouty lips

the rest of my body i keep well confined to jeans and a t-shirt:rolleyes:

Hm... I like my long legs. And I have a long neck that is pretty cool for wearing turtleneck sweaters....

mmmmm, this is hard!! I'd have to say that I like my height (5’ 9”) and I’m with you Saturn, I like my long legs! I also like that I’m kind hearted and generally a big softie. :D

I got long legs too :hehehe: I think the one physical thing I like is my feet....I know this sounds weird but they are kinda small, which Alex likes. I also like the way I look in certain colors...greys, blues, and some shades of red and purple.

As for the rest of me, we're working on that :) We had our 3rd nite at the gym last night (LA Fitness) and even though I am still sore I am already feeling much better inside and out.

As far as "beauty on the inside" goes, I have been told I am a very giving person. Even if I am broke I still try to be the one to buy lunch or pay for the movies. I have a friend who is the same way, and he and I argue when the bill comes cuz he has paid for me and Alex so many times...I try to pay for the next meal or movie and he won't let me.

That's all I can think of for now...it's still too early for me and I just got to work hehe.

Well, the things that i think i like the most would have to be my hair, eyes, and my hands. I guess you are wondering why my hands....well, i like the fact that they are so....capable...ya know. As for the inside, people have told me that i am a very nice, loving, and giving person....so unless everyone is conspiering(sp) agianst me there must be a grain of truth in what they say.......:)

Hm, I think I like my back & stomach the most. (Kinda odd parts of me to like). A lot of my guy friends like my eyes, so maybe thats a good feature too :)
