1997 the Engine light problem....

Few weeks ago I had an oil change, before the oil change the engine light was on, then after it went off. However again it went on a few weeks after. There is no problem with the vehicle engine however, it was checked. Is there any solution in turning this light off? :sly:

:grinyes: pathyboy sometimes it the airfilter (clogged, even if recently changed)that causes la check engine light to go on. low gas oil changes or loose sensor fittings genral inspecion of engine compartment check for loose or worn stuff.

Have your ECU error codes scanned at an auto parts store to see why the light is coming on.
