Just a little fun here, some of you wont know what this is but its called the SMART and was origionally designed in conjunction with the swiss watch maker SWATCH I believe. It has interchangable panels which you can alter if you wish or that was the original plan. Anyway I had this lying around and thought I would 'hot' it up a little the rims are from a lambo the roof spoiler is from an RX7 the arches are miliput and there are side skirts in the pipeline. I forsee a lot of sanding to get it to look something like. :lol2:

I've always fancied getting one of these and doing a Smart Crossblade. There are a few tuned Smart's that look real good too, Brabus do a nice one with wider arches similar to yours.
It's looking great Neil, cant wait to see the end result for something different.

Looking good so far what is the manufactures name of the kit, seen it once a few years ago.
As Chris said a Brabus transkit would be nice Hint

Kit is made by Revell Germany kit # 07331 for those interested and infact comes with a choice of red, yellow and green panels, a lot of the detail is also already painted so you could nock it together fairly rapid if you wanted, today started the sanding :uhoh:

:screwy: Totally insane... some of you guys are nutso in here!
I just bought that kit for my wife lat week, she built it in 10 minutes box stock with the red panels. Now she wants me to buy two more so she can build it in green and yellow. Never imagined it souped up like this though.

The answer is yes, I make more than cars, ask Gundam1969 has seen some of my figs. The centre Predator fig even has green glowing eyes and red lazer sight in the helmet curtesy of led's
BTW considering going the whole hog with the SMART and fitting an SAS GT wing instead of the RX7 spoiler, what do you think ?

Yes its done but not without a few 'problems'
before the pics a few details
Patches of original miliput not mixed so had to dig out
refilled/sanded/primed three times
not happy with it so reskimmed with more miliput
sanded/primed twice more
dropped it an cracked front filler :crying:
superglued/sanded/primed again
primed with white as using a light colour
base coat mettalic red, used an old can which had lost pressure and splatted the paint onto model :banghead:
sanded/reprimed base coated plain red
topcoat as you see pearl red with two coats clear
put carbon fibre on roof, developed a split when dry (decals very thin Chris), removed with sellotape and sprayed satin black instead
had planned to do doors c/f but cut one piece wrong and didnt have spare (I think I need some more Chris :lol2:
Hope you like it and yes I know its :screwy:

I don't mean to be rude or anything...but that wing is hidious!! :D (on that car...) But I love the colour and the exhaust pipe in the middle. Aside form the wing, there's only one minor thing: that air intake on the CF hood is for what?! The engine is in the back!! Have you turbocharged it? Is that for the intercooler? eheheheheh......:D Great job man! I have to get one of those small cars myself :grinyes:

WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING?????????
:biggrin2: J/K
I really do think its kewl, a bit different but kewl. I love the Lambo wheels and the wing is pretty far out there but its an weird subject so it works. You should enter that in a contest. The judges would be scratching their heads for weeks over that! LOL
