"Technical" learning websites?

hey i probably sound stupid but i dont know all that much about auto mechanics and i'd like to know a few good websites that can explain how the different parts of the car work (generally is fine, but detailed description is always better heheh).

try an auto class at your local junior college, depending on you age/income it could be free, if not it's only like $45. and the basic auto 101 class will teach you all you need to know about how the car BASICALLY works
