ok here's the issue it's confusing me a little. ok, my driver side cv joint has a no broken boot but it clicks when i have the wheel jacked up and i move it 10 degrees back and forth. and my passenger side cv joint has a broken boot but it's not clicking when i turn the passenger wheel like the driverside wheel does. my question is is the problem a driver side cv joint, passenger side cv joint or mabey the bearings on my driver's side?
oh and the cvjoints were taken from a car that was hit once on the drivers side, the impact hit the wheel hard enough to damage the strut tower, although it never got replaced on account of the car to getting totaled 4 months later which may have also damaged the cv joints, after the wreck i had around 6 degrees toe out on my front end.
currently i'm about to replace my passenger cv joint cause i bought it and all.

Replace both axles - $60 each & simple
Could have bad bearing
Is the axle seated correctly w/ new set rings?

yes you should eventually the dust and water will wash out all the oil and you car will no longer be able to put power to the wheels. pl. you may also notice your stering wheel shaking in highspeed turns, that just isn't cool it happened to me before, i nealy crashed when i lost controll of my car because of said problem.

set rings??? i just bought one half axel from advance was going to buy the next in a week due to cashflow issues. i previously had it done at a reputable shop, but cv joints have been through a lot they came from my wrecked car and may have been damaged in previous accident.
