Radio/CD

I have a speaker problem. The front driver side door speakers do not work. The rear on the right side works ok but not the door. Where would one start?? Does anone know how to get the radio out so I can check connections on it?? Or is there another place to start??

whats the year make and model? first i would take apart the door panel and see if the 2 wires going to the door speakers cam disconnected if not, then take the harness out of the back of the radio and find the ones going to that door and put a battery two the ends of the 2 wires to see if theres a break in the connection from the radio to the doors.....is it a factory radio?? i have a 92 and mine just had two screws holding in the trim piece, then 4 screws holding the radio in
