Ricer/Racer Boy meet

I know theres many on here.... I myself have created one.... a car with all show, and no go... so don't be ashamed.. just post :sunglasse

Looks pretty cool. Most of my models are curbside, so I guess that's about as "all show, no go" as it gets :p

I don't like ricers. My friend wants me to build him one though, so I think I'm going to.

What exactly is a ricer? A car with a bodykit, a wing but only, let's say 90 hp? So it looks fast but a stock car could beat it in race?

That's a lot of it. Another big chunk of it is when the driver of said 90 hp car with a bodykit acts like he can run with NSXs in the corners and beat Corvettes off the line.

Rice is a term that's thrown around all too often. Some people see it as derogatory, but I don't. I'd say it's insulting to the person who is acting like "a ricer" but if they deserve it.......

Yes. Last week I've been faster than a turkey with a loud BMW after the traffic light turned green. And I drive a '90 Corsa A (Nova for the UK people) with powerful 45 hp! :rofl:

I would define a ricer as a car that has like a bunch of body mods and stuff and like no engine mods, a huge muffler, tons of stickers (That should be saved for race cars), a huge wing they could fly away with etc. Things like that.

In Australia we have lots of Rice cars. Mostly Civic's which have lost all appeal after that shit Fast and Furious movie. I define Rice as a car with next to no horsepower with a shit load of stereo and body mods not to mention glowing things hanging off the car and stickers on every panel. I think the worst thing is standard cars with hundreds of useless Autometer guages in it. The thing that makes me laugh even more is the drivers, they think their car is the shit. All those in Australia will appreciate the ongoing fued between the V8 Trevs and the Import enthusiasts and then there's the battle between both parties and the Riceys. Well the other day I saw a new holden ute with neons and stickers all over it and a big GT style wing, it looked like something out of Star Wars. Anyway I just thought I would put my opinion into this thread as I am 100% anti Rice, give me a Japanese performer any day.

:dunno: but who cares this is the funniest thread i've seen for quite sometime now. Wish I had a camera when I was on my sport bus today! I saw the biggest chunk of rice I ever seen, Mazda with "graphics", "Zoom-Zoom", fart can & a "wing".

I laughed, oh how I laughed, before my laughter was silenced aswell as the general bus noise and buses engine by a `71 Pontiac GTO going up hill. I then drooled instead of laughed.
