All,

Just had my 60k service done yesterday on my 1998 Accord V6. The service was performed by a mechanic/shop that has been used by my family for years, very reputable. Above and beyond the regular maint services performed I had the mechanic use the following....
Mobil 1
BG MOA Oil Treatment
BG ATC Plus ATF Treatment
Bought a can of BG 44K
Other than bleeding/flushing of brake system, rotors and pads checked out okay.

My total came to just under $700. Not complaining, don't need another service of this type till 120K...other than the timing belt, water pump at 90K.

My question is, is this what you other owners of Accord V6's experienced price wise? Just curious. She's purring like a kitten....

Thanks
Chris

$700? Thats a bit high for the 60K service. The honda dealer I worked for charged $439.00 & or labor was $92.00 per hr :cwm27: . We charge $329 here @ my shop for the 60K service.

15K - 30K - 45K - 60K -75K - 90K etc. . . . those all your important services. The 7.5K not such a big deal if you change the oil every 3K or so & stick with the maint.

I am not sure if your V6 has platinum tipped spark plugs, but those dont need replacing til 100K or so.
