What to do to my car to speed it up

I have a 97 altima and i want to do somethings to it. I have about 1000 to playing around with and i want to know the best way to spend the money. I want get it detailed and a cd play however i also want to speed it up any idea or suggestions?

Intake, header and exhaust.. basic bolt ons that you can use to have to "speed up" your car.. visit www.southwestautoworks.com www.customaltima.com and liquid-ink.com they all have parts fro our cars.. 1G to play with you could get all your bolts ons and still have money left.. ohh yeah the exhaust more lilkely is that youre going to have to get a universal one and then have a muffler shop do the pipin and weld the exhaust on.. recomended size for the piping is 2 1/4..

OK intake from 40.00 to 250.00
Header 225.00 to 450.00
exhaust.. well whichever universal you want and the whatever the muffy shop charges....
