Funny Police story

It doesnt have anything to do with street racing, but i figured you guys would get a laugh...
soooo...
Me and my buddy were driving down rt20 into the hilltowns where we live. We see an ambulance with its lights on pass at like, i dunno, 50. When we get to the next intersect, 5 cops (a statie, 2 from my city and 2 from the town next to us) go FLYING around the corner with no regard to safety, behind this ambulance. We were kinda spooked (we had lots of alcohol and some weed on us) but kept driving in the oppoiste direction. Not 2 minutes later, 2 cops come FLYING by us at 100+ mph, we pulled over to make way, then keep driving. 2 minutes after that, the traffic cop suburban comes flying down the road as fast as it can. When we get to the main intersection down the road, we see 2 cops take a left while the suburban does a U turn. Me and my buddy were laughing so hard at the cops that we actually had to stop driving to let it all out. Oh man, the cops looked like such fools, tearing ass all over the place not knowing their ass from their elbow. We figured some psycho broke out of the hospital and stole the ambulance, but i found out the next day that some kid stole an acura and they were hellbent on finding him. So they wasted about 15-20 crusiers total to find him. Oh it was so great, because the instant you saw the cops flying around all over the place, you KNEW that they had NO CLUE where this guy was.

HAHA, sounds like the cops from the town i used to go to school at. 4 of em. On routine traffic stops they would have their guns held at the ready like they would really need them. :screwy:

Yes, and there are those that didn't do that, and have been killed by even bigger idiots...and Steel, you should've left-out the part about the drugs and booze in the car...I surely hope that you guys weren't on either or both while drivinghttp://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/images/smilies/disappointed.gif.
As much as cops are a bane to my "hobby" they are people too, and they are doing their very necessary jobs...half of you guys calling them "stupid" probably won't make it halfway through a decent Police Academy...so please, keep the cop-bashing in the Stress-release forum.
