Power window problem 94 mustang

I am new to the forum and am looking for some direction, I have 1994 cobra and for whatever reason both windows have he same problem.
They both need a kickstart to get em movin, when trying to operate them they both make noise ( a clicking sound ) and won't budge until I give them a little persuasion . Would appreciate some direction as to what to check out and how to go about fixing it.
