Cant Get BG Music To Play :(

i figured out how to have a media player with a drop down list of songs to play and it works. But ona seperate page, the home page i want just a regular song to loop over and over, i have the song on tripod and im using brinkster for everything else but music. Why isnt it working im doing the

<bgsound src="http://ballajalla.tripod.com/64.mp3"; loop="-1">

As far as I know, the bgsound tag only supports .wav and .mid files, not mp3s.
