Hey, I just got a 97 SE.
Its all stock now, but i hope i can get some pointers from you guys and start modding it.

Congrats! Welcome to the Maxima Family. I have the same generation as you (99 GLE).

I was lucky i got the max, the wife wanted auto :)

My guess is about $3,000-$5,000 that's with the tranny. Where to get it? Well I'd start by going to a Mechanic, more than likely he knows how to work on cars. :screwy:

Id rather get a newer 6spd instead. Bout the only thing "engine wise" thats gonna be done to this is exhaust/intake mods and maybe a 50 shot :)
