99 Maxima SE-L Braking problem

Hi,

When I brake(usually little harder) it gives a push just before it comes to stop. It is not the brake pedal(so it is not ABS) the car itself gives a little push. Does anyone here know what the problem could be? I appreciate all your help.

never heard of that.. maybe your idle is too high therefor you get that little push?.. have you checked you brake fluid level?

Thanks for your response. I will check the brake fluid level. Can you please tell me why idle speed would cause this problem?
