Aoshima Luxy kits

Anyone built one of the Aoshima Luxy kits? I read they have an adjustable suspension height on those kits, from stock height to slammed. Is it any good? Or just some gimmick that doesn't really work well? Details on how it works would be helpful, too. Thanks.

A couple of people built those awhile back but I don't remember who; the suspension apparently worked pretty well.

These kits are excellent, I did one with the adjustable supension but I liked the ride to be just below the normal ride height. It is pretty cool.

I've done two of them and suspension is a neat concept. You can make it sit totally slammed or lift it high, to goofy proportions. I like the slammed look. Of course, chassis detail is sacrificed, but I think it's worth it for the look. :) :iceslolan

I think all of the luxy kits built on this forum had 0 complaints. I'm thinking about purchasing a Celsior luxy or VIP kit in the future.

i read on another site that the kit's wheels and other details werent anything like what it showed on the outside of the box... but hey, you can always buy more wheels... :grinyes:
