what is next?

If you have light dubs, I, E, underdrive pulleys, removed the A/C, and trimmed the fat by 260 pounds. What do you do next? Headers and cam gears...or would a fuel rail or cam shaft be better? port and polish? Ghey chips? I dont really want to buy a turbo and get into problems and I am looking at any possibilities for power. 700 to a grand. Is there any heads that go on the f22 that provide signif power gains that I could find in a wrecked car? Light weight half shaft? torque converter? I guess I am just looking for the best bang for the buck at this point. Only pushing 130whp at 2650 lbs. It is nice but not enough. People say Nos...yeah(detonation anyone?)...if I want to retard my timing and drive slow unless I am spraying...that is lame. any suggestions? Thanks fellaboys!

why not go headers and cams, depending on the cams, you can prolly see a 25hp increase with that set.

It's a non vtec motor though, so would cams really make a difference? And I'm sure about any that are made for an Accord LX.

since it sounds like ur going all motor, why not more simple things? a header will run u only around $300-400, and u can pick up a test pipe for under $100 EASILY.

with all that air, u COULD start upgrading ur fuel system, but honestly, the f22 isn't really a motor that screams modify me, so i'd suggest thinking about a swap if u want to get ur car to be quick.

btw, don't waste ur money on a chip. its not going to do much of anything for ur car cept waste gas an money. good luck buddy.

i would get cams and adjustable cam gears, so you can degree the cams to spec. A header is always good. Cams work fine. The only diffrence between vtec and non is they have 2 cam lobes one for low rpm and one for high. All in all it makes it rune smoother at idle. You can get a non vtec cam just as good you just have a rougher idle

so with a header to complete the I/H/E for my car, a fuel rail or better injectors would give a little bit of a gain in hp? I really don't want to buy things that don't work (because we all know how many of the aftermarket parts are shoddy.)

I know the f22 isn't the motor that screams modify me to the majority of people, but I want to keep it to an NA tuned f22 because it is a challenging base...some bastard already got a 5th gen. up to 270whp with a supercharger or turbo. That's pretty impressive. When I find the article I'll post it.

if u want real power, put a 50 shot on, yes its a BIT risky, but its perfectly safe if u do it correctly.

Is there a such thing as a light "DUB"?... Dont waste your time and money on a F22... look at any decently fast accord (14.5 and below) thats not on n2o that has the F22. If you find one great but most people trying to go fast are going to get an h22...you can find them for like 2500+ how much money do you plan to pour into your F22 to still be slower than stock H22 hp?
