It all depends on what your definition of 'fast' is. Top speed? or 1/4 mile?
Top speed probably McLaren F1 or some super exotic car similar to it.
1/4 mile probably some ProStreet dragster that runs 7s or 8s can still be considered 'street legal' as long as its registered and has all the working lights.
