Digital Speedometer Question

I saw an RX-8 at the dealership tonight and thought it was the best looking car for 30K Bar none. I noticed it had a digital speedometer, but the dealer said U.S. models would only read in MPH, with no metric mode. Is this true?? I would love to take a car like this to Germany in April but if it cant read Km/h the car is out of the question. I would think a car with as many features as the RX-8 would have a Metric conversion for speed....

I'm pretty sure I saw something in the owner's manual indicating it's possible to switch from MPH to KPH.

There is a button to the top & left of the Tach that allows you to change to metric.

Thats true. The Trip meters and the Odometer also switch over to metric when you press the button. That will come in handy when I head to germany in March =)
