A/C Question?

When I turn on the A/C, air only flows out of the defroster. I can't seem to get any air to come out of the dash registers. Is this normal upon start-up and then the air flows properly once the engine warms up? Thanks in advance for any help. BTW I have a '92 88 Royale.

I don't know for sure, but earlier models had "vacuum motors" that actuated the doors. Might be a bad motor or vacuum hose...
