Airbag warning code 36

I have a 2000 Taurus with 62000 on it. A couple weeks a go the airbag warning light began flashing. It flashes 3 times, puases then flashes 6 times. It then keeps repeating. I assume this is code 36. Can anyone tell me what this code means and thanks for the help.
