I`ve seen so many great examples of Camaros here lately, especially the `69 Revell kit, so I thought it would be a good time to have a meet! :iceslolan Please post all your Camaros everyone, finished or in progress! I`ll start:

Oldsmobile engine, Challenger High rise manifold, Superbee carbs and filters. Painted Tamiya light metallic blue, with black hockey stripes(not planned) and 18" Aoshima VIP wheels. Slammed on it's arse with a few undercarriage details.
Attached are my 3 favourite photos of it, you'll notcie that the last 4-5 of my models completed are actually missing one little detail, when will it stop :uhoh::

I was wondering how long it would take to get you in here, CamaroSS. I like your silver 69!
I already made a camaro meet.

I thought maybe some people might not know exactly what a F-Body is, so I figured will give it another try with "Camaro Z28" in the subject line. Maybe we`ll get more people in here.

Mike, I think that you have too many Camaro's. You sure have built a lot. Don't you kind of get tired of them after a while?

I love the 69 with the 2000 Camaro SS rims on it. The others are all really good to Mike.

Hawk:WOW!! That is one killer shine.

Thanks! I must admit though, that is the 1/12 scale model and not the 1/25 scale version.
I used duplicolor black and clear coat, about 5 coats of color and 10 coats of clear, rubbed out and polished with Zaino!

Oh, I thought that was the 1/25. I thought it was a little big though.
I'm really trying, but with school starting in like 5 days, I've been so busy I haven't touched a model in like a week. My Camaro is going to be kind of screwed. I broke the windows, I broke a ton of the trim around the windows and stuff. The interior is really nice and I really like how the engine turned out though. I'm going to try and finish it sometime soon. I think that I'm going to paint it like a really dark blue with silver stripes. :grinyes:

Old thread, good spirit!

All about '69 eh? Here's 3 of them I got in progress:

1.) 1969 Camaro 396SS Coupe Drag car, excuse the Rally rims.. it's got some Crager rims w/ like slicks. Color - Dark Red
http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=500/35516camaro01.jpg

2.) 1969 Camaro 396SS Coupe Factory Stock, a former family car with opening doors, hood, trunk... and lots of other goodies! :D Color - Le Mans Blue
http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=500/35516camaro02.jpg

3.) 1969 Camaro 350SS Convertible, we'll see, no real plans yet... I'm thinking something like Burgundy.

Don't worry about it.... ;)
You can get any ol' 350 from AMT 1972 Nova, 1970 Camaro, etc. Other than that, you can get any small block and make it "look" like one, if you catch what I'm saying.

More of this family. Camaro 69 RS Convertible. With 396 of course. Maybe going to throw some hi-po parts. Will be bright red with some stripes. Don't know yet. Wheels, rims and brakes are from 206. Maybe better seats for raised speed limits.:)

Hey Hawk those wheels are from[you will laugh] the Muscle Machine Cars. They are the front wheels. What i did whit the front one you see here is that i cut it in 2 and sanded it down to make the skinnies. The "TUBB" is also from the muscle machine but i cut out the side wall and i added the side wall from the 1/12 scale slick. The front tire is also from the Camaro kit except i cut out the 3 tire treads in the center and i glued the out halfs together to make the skinnies.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v236/Ralphlovs1969cars/built3025.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v236/Ralphlovs1969cars/built6002.jpg

This is the project that i started 2 yrs ago and was recently finished. The reason it took so long was that i had a baby son[lol]. This car has scratched built disck brakes and calipers from a formula 1. The bake dust shields are from the kit itself but they were modified. Doors opened. The engine is from the 1/12 Corvette but with the tunnel ram from the Camaro kit.The electric water pump is a mofied water pump from the kit also. The interior has a role cage and if you look carefully it has a rug.[Velcro]. The Houndstooth decals are blown up decals from the convertible 69 1/25 camaro. The exhaust is bent aluminum tubing with the 57 Chevy modified mufflers. The car is fully plumed and wired. The brake lines are guitar strings and so is the fuel lines. Also the linkages are from a 1/24-1/25 Nascar panhard rod found in the rear[used on the Carburetors].ooo and the hood was modified but i think i made it a bit too "TALL" but i now have made a smaller one. Color is Dupli topped with PPG clear.
