8 lbs on F22 for how long

well, I got on my shelf a turbo with an internal wastegate set at 8 lbs, and the materials and tools to make a manifold and downpipe. 10:1 FMU is 100 bucks and cheap BOV is 50, old saab or volvo intercooler is no more than 50

piping will be bent exhaust pipe and can someone please explain to me how exactly check valves work?

I read a post where it said you can get the parts at a pet store and it is cheap, I am pretty sure that i know a cherck valve is a valve that opens at a certain level of pressure, and i saw a auction for check valves that was 2 of them t'd off a vaccum line.

I was thinking of missing link but since my map isnt on my throttle body like it is on my old car the one i saw wont work, do they make missing links for F22's?

You have an F22 in a Civic? My Accord has that engine and I have the Missing Link installed. Should be fine.
And about the title of this thread...are you asking if that engine can handle 8 psi? The compression is set so it can...so yes. You shouldn't go much higher without internals done though.

no, my civic has the DOHC ZC, I just bought an accord and decided I wanna put the turbo on it instead of the civic and then if the engine ever blows ill put in the H22 and maybe put the turbo on that. you have a missing link in your accord? is it a 94-97 with the F22B2?

and i was also asking if it could handle 8 lbs and i knew it was 8.8:1 but I didnt know how strong the bottom end is.

ZC, eh? My friend just swapped that into his Civic hatch. Kind of rare.

The Accord engine is definitely strong enough to handle the boost. Moreso than the H22 I think, compression-wise. I think you can run it higher than 8 if you have a decent fuel management system. But for stock, I'd keep it at 8 or below.

And yes, I have a missing-link in my 96 Accord, for the F22B1 engine.

where is the MAP sensor on a accord EX? on the firewall like on my LX.

and the only fuel management will be a rising rate FMU.
