Problem with my 97 GS HELP!!!

ok guys, tonite i was driving home and i saw a mustang in front of me and he floored it and so did i in second gear, then i didnt realize but i redlined it at 2nd, then i went to third and floored it and then i slowed down cus i was scared a cop will be around. so about 5 min later im in 4th and i push the pedal down enough to get some push out of my car, and my rpm needle rev'd up and the engine accelerated but the car didnt react and the rpm needle went up and the car was going the same speed, my car was accelerating but it wasn't picking up speed. now if i press the pedal slowly to get some speed it reacts but if i floor it the needle goes up and it makes that rev noise but not reaction. it does this in 3rd 4th and 5th, but in 1st and 2nd i can floor it. i think the clutch is burnt, not sure, help me please, the car has 106k and i bought it with 99k and i dont know if the clutch was replaced. please reply

ok i know i need a new clutch, im not hooking my car up cus im selling it, so i cant sell it with this bad clutch, so i need to get either a stock clutch or some kind thats decent, like a website or something like that, please help, thanks

Go down to whatever parts store, like AutoZone or pepboys or something, whatever you yanks got down there, and get a cheap stock replacement clutch. Should be $150 tops
