Hey I am looking for a first car I have seen some 300Z non turbos going for around $8000 e/ 100+k on them I was wondering how reliable would a high mileage 300zx be I really like them butm my parents want me to stick with Honda since thats all my parents will drive they wasnt me to get a Prelude. Could you tell me how reliable these are and if I am even halfway correct when I say I see them for 8g.

I've seen some pretty abused 300s running around so that says alot. If you're going to be paying for your insurance, get a nissan. Hondas are damned expensive to insure due to the high theft rate. Besides, who the hell would want a honda when they could have a 300?:D

I have a 95' Z and it runs great! miles are at around 83,000. No problems to date! All I can say is to shop around, and have a good working knowledge of the car. Most of all test drive, test drive, test drive! Z's will go on forever, I've seen n/a's with over 200,000 on them wit no problems. So just find a car that has not been ragged out.

Good Luck
