3000gt Sl window

Hey i'm a new proud owner of a 3000 gt sl i got from a friend since he is getting a lexus 330 and i was looking at the car and i saw this small blacked out area behind the driver and passeneger winddows and it not tinting it looks like plastic can anyone tell me why Mitsubishi did this.

ask your friend if he (or she) knows.if he doesnt, then i dont know. i

he says he has no idea and there are no Mitsubishi dealers that would say nething to me without charging 140$

then thats probly not supposed to be there. just go down to autozone
or the nerest car shop. they will probly have a cheap book that youll need later on too so just get a book on it. or do you have that book that they put in the car when you buy it?? it says all the functions

i went to autoone and pepbuys and they didnt have anybook on the 3000 besides the factory repair book and i have the oweners manual and i cant fide anything that relates to that plastic o heres a pic if you dont know what i'm talkin bout http://www.geocities.com/forbiddount601/Seans_Digital2.jpg

If you mean that little triangle piece in the circle here (from a pic of my VR4) then its just part of the design of the car. Its only for aesthetics - no practical purpose.

YA that thanks i would think they could have put a peice of glass there so the rear passenger would have a very small window
