no spark..why?

I'm trying to help a friend who owns a 95 eclipse rs. The local shop diagnosed a bad computer. We sent it to a place in florida to have it repaired.

Just installed it and.....nothing. Pulled a plug and it's not getting any fire.

What could be the culprit? I'm not familiar with distributorless systems.

ECU may still be bad , perhaps you can install it in a similar car to test it. Possibly its the crank trigger sensor , dunno where they are located on the 420A , but prolly by the front crank pulley.
