Rear badges

Would it be possible to remove the rear badges from my car without having to fill any holes? I know that some badges are just glued on and you can use a heat gun to remove them without damaging the paint. I've also seen badges that have plastic pieces that fit into holes to keep the badges alligned. Just trying to figure out if it's time to have everything shaved or if I can get by just doing some of it myself...

Thanks!

Spencer

Are you talking about the "MAXIMA" and the "SE" emblems? I took mine off a while ago. They are stuck on with double sided type tape...looks very clean afterwards...

I heard you can "saw" through the double-sided tape with strong fishing line or dental floss and then rub off the remainder of the adhesive - if you can't get them to pop off with some heat.

Cool, thanks for the input. I'm going to take them off this weekend. My plan is to heat them up with a heat gun, then use floss to release the glue from the car. Thanks for your help!
