PASSED IWC: I liked the original setup:

First: I appreciate everything that Igor et.al. have done over the years.
However, I do have some issues with the new look and would like to suggest some revisions to favour simplicity and ease of use, rather than being confronted by a myriad of options every time I want to post.
#1 "New Thread" "Post Reply" buttons need to be on the RHS of the screen. It's intuitive: We read R -> L and when we finish our eyes are heading right, not back to the left. I have to hunt for the buttons every time.
#2 PM/ICQ/STATUS/AIM/MSN all need to go back to under the post. That way it's not so cluttered under the user's name/avatar/CV. It just looks finnicky (Could we also right justify the User location, join dates etc and put postcount with them too please).
#3 Edit/Delete | Reply w/Quote to the RHS of the screen (see #1) Report Post | IP: Logged to LHS followed by #2 in middle.
#4 Get rid of the "similar threads" locator - it takes up screen space and just adds to the clutter.
In otherwords, I preferred the old style setup. It was simple, easy to use and uncluttered.
Just my :2cents: :) Like I said, I appreciate you wanting the place to continually improve, I just think the current set up is counter intuitive.
Cheers
Pete

I agree with the above statements. Seems to look very clutterd. I also appreciate everything you have done for the forums and for us Igor. Thank You

Ummm... I left off IWC and varied the responses slightly - so sue me.
Cant fix either but the sentiment is there.
