ok.. i am new to the mustang forum and know very little about mustangs... but today i saw a mustang that had a mach 1 badge on it and it appeared to be new.. like 2000 + ... on the side like at the bottom of the door it had mach 1 inside of the little racing stripes... my question is... was this just a fake and this guy just put badges on it cause he htought that it was kewl or do they still make the mustang mach 1's

Mach 1s are slated for 2003 and 2004. We are currently in the 2003 cycle year.

The Mach 1 returned in 2003 with a four-valve DOHC 305-hp V-8 engine sitting under a functional Shaker hood scoop. A flat black stripe ran from the scoop to the front of the hood, a black Mach 1 stripe ran the length of the side, the spoiler was painted black, it got rolled exhaust tips like the 2001 Bullitt, and Comfort Weave seats like the original Mach 1. A new version of the classic Magnum 500 wheel was the only option for the 2003 Mach 1. The Mach 1 was available in six colors: Oxford White, Zinc Yellow, Torch Red, Black, Azure Blue, and Dark Shadow Grey.

I think those wheels would look a lot better if they had just a bit more of a deep dish to them. I tried photoshopping that but I kinda suck at that stuff.

I hate the magnum wheels. But they're not as played out as the Bullitt rims.

I just looked at one the other day, it was selling for somewhere in the $28k range. If I had the extra cash I would be driving one right now.

When they first came out I looked into the price and the MSRP was around 28 grand, but the dealers wouldn't let them go for less than 38 grand. Sad thing was..........all of them had already been sold at the 5 dealerships I talked to.
