This is the scenerio on a GSR....take out the CAT Converter and replace it with TEST PIPE ($40.00) and take out the RESONATOR and replace it with CHERRY BOMB ($20.00) and ADD a RESONATOR TIP at the end. What do you think....would this get you some HP??? Need SOME Opinion!!!

i have no idea really, i would assume if you are going with bigger piping you would see something but it might sound like shit....

it'll sound like straight up ass.
it would, however, sound good if you did the following:
go to a muffler shop and get 2.25" piping from the stock cat and back, tell them to make a bolt-on flange to the cat and give them the cherrybomb to put in place of the resonator, have them remove the stock muffler and get some straight through muffler off ebay (BOMB tuneable ones are SOOOOOOO deep).
then after you do that put the test pipe on. do not do the test pipe before you go to the muffler shop cuz they might hold you there and make you buy a catalytic convertor and then WELD it on. do the test pipe after the exhaust is up.

if you are putting the bomb exhaust on it then why replace the resonator with the cherry bomb? just leave it out. just do the test pipe back to the bomb exhaust.

Thats why you put a SILENCER AT THE END!!!

i wasn't refering to the cherrybomb with a resonator when i said that i was refering to this

I dont think I could anyway do a test pipe cause my CAt has the O2 sensor and if I make a test pipe its definitely have the "CHECK ENGINE" to come on all the time since the test pipe dont have a O2 sensor built in!!

its jus a light. not a big deal. its jus reading that ur cat is shot. the test pipe is going to make it nice an loud, but i'd personally stay away from the cherry bombs... :sly:
go w/ wut they said, 2 1/4 in piping, u'll see the best gains with that.

yes it is an oxygen sensor or O2 for short. i'm not sure on integras but in my experience with other cars they can range anywhere from 40 up to 120.
