Reseller for Garrett turbos in US?

I'm trying to find Garrett GT2530's or GT2535's in the US, any idea where to ask? I see them selling GT2535 (?) for around $1250 US in Australia, that is way cheaper than the cheapest HKS 2530's I have seen here ($2000 US). I tried egarrett.com reseller locator but I mostly see diesel shops and majority of them don't have a catalog online, I thought I'd ask here before starting to call them.

Get me the exact HKS part # you want and I'll check. I get all of their stuff at least 20% off retail.

I'd also be interested in such turbos. HKS at 20% or the garrett turbos which are HKS but at a lower price :D

One or Two....at current exchange rates, I can get 2530's pretty damn cheap.
Brand new Complete turbo kit on Twin 2530's would be 3,000 USD...I'll keep looking for the single.

I just checked the airfare to Tokyo, less than $500 from Dallas, maybe I should go and check out the races there and pick up myself a set of new 2530's... :)

Gtr2.7L, if you find them at that price, you got atleast one buyer on the line.

2.7l is right about the 2530's. Now is a good time to buy Japanese parts. The yen rate is like 130 to 1 dollar right now. That makes japanese parts dirt cheap. I'm personally waiting for the rate to hit 140, them I'm going on a shopping spree for GT-R parts for my car.

I don't think it's going to get that bad. The Japanese Govt won't let it get any worse than 135. To be honest....it really wouldn't matter a whole lot what the rate was....compared to "Retail" that they charge in the US and Australia for the exact same stuff....I would call "Robbery!"

Actually, in 1998 the yen rate got as bad as 145.....

That was 1998....I don't think it's going to happen this year. Not to say that I would mind....I'd be selling even more parts!
The government already stepped in when it hit 129 three weeks ago...halted the exchange...and froze the currency....since then (and after they reopened) it has only dropped to 131.7

Hey, the turbos for my Z32 (300zx) just went out. I would LOVE to slap on some GT2530's on my Z, if I can get a good price, I'm ready to buy them right now. $2600 USD sounds good, the lower the better though. Let me know guys, I could really use some help here. I can't believe Nissan wants $2200 for two stock turbos...hit me up, [email protected].

Thanks!!!
