Fuel pump CRX 88 SI

How do you test to see if it's bad?
Also how in the world do you remove it from the tank? I got the rest of the stuff from over top of it but can't figure how to get it loose.

With ignition off disconnect the Main Relay
Connect a jumper wire from the blk/yel to yel/blk
turn ignition & probe blk/yel+ / yel/blk -
If power - replace the fuel pump
No power - replace the main relay

Use a jumper wire from a positve source & connect to positve fuel pump for testing

Pry the fuel pump from the tank gently
