Krylon Fusion

Who has used krylon fusion? My bud got some and we are gonna paint some of the stuff in his car, how do you guys like the stuff? Apparently you dont have too sand or primer it

I've talked to a few people who have used it and love it. Never met someone who didn't like it. They all said the same thing, no sanding or priming required. I havn't actually seen it used it person, so this is only from pics and word of mouth, but people I have talked to say it kicks ass and it is easy to work with. The only complaint I have heard is it's hard to find a good color selection. If you go ahead and use it, let me know how it turns out, or post some pics when your done.

thats about the only thing i see wrong with it is that there isnt enough color selection available.

Do not or sand your interior parts before using the Krylon Fusion...the paint cracks on you after a week especially if you keep your car outdoors and have the sunlight hitting it all day. I would like to know how it turns out.

I was thinking about using this Krylon Fusion paint in my car. So... I began using it, and like an unprepared teenager that I am, I got ahead of myself and messed it up. I didnt clean the parts i was painting and I sprayed it to heavily at first and it bubbled. I was wondering if anyone had any tips for getting it off, I'm thinking about sanding it all but don't know if there's a better way to do it. If I should sand it, what grit sand paper should I use etc. Also, When I begin painting again, what precautions should I use, and what things should I look out for? Thanks for the help

for the smooth parts of the interior u can sand it, just make sure u use a really fine grit
for the not smooth stuff just by some paint thinner and use that with a cloth (the only thing bad about krylon is its easy to remove)

after you fix it make sure it looks right then clearcoat it

krylon is the best stuff you can use, as long as you do it right
if you do it right it wont come off in normal use
ive had it in for almost 6 months (20degrees to 80degrees) and there have been no problems
