98 elantra

I have a 98' Elantra I got from my parents. I want to know what I can do to make this car awesome, but things that arent too expensive. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

Elantra's are nice reliable cars, but generally speaking arn't very fast. I'd sugest trick it out, nice system, maybe nice wheels, if you want performance, get an intake, and if you don't mind the rice an exhaust too. You can ALWAYS do something crazy like NOS for around $500 but there really arn't many kits out there for the elantra. I'd just say, keep it nice, and trick it out.
