Stock turbos V.S. Preformance

is there a differance
example:
Eagle talon stock turbo
Bug stock turbo
etc.........
if i put a turbo in my civic would it do the same or worse or better just wondering????? :screwy:

It would probably be better than something stock. That is, if you bought a whole new kit (w/ intercooler). There are different kind of kits meant for different kinds of power gains.
Not sure about other vehicles, but the WRX, for example, has about 227 HP w/ a turbo boosting rather high. Without the turbo, that engine is not pushing much. So a naturally aspirated engine would probably have better results since it is made to be strong enough on it's own. But, I guess it all depends on what kind of stock car we're talkin' about here. The Subaru isn't exactly the most expensive car out there, so I wouldn't think it's going to have a huge engine on it's own. I have no clue on the Talon or Bug.
