Was going through some unfinished kits today and discovered that my Tamiya 93 Castrol Toyota Celica Monte Carlo kit's decals are beginning to crack. The questions I have is can I still apply them (probably in pieces), is there anything I can coat them with so I can apply them in one peice, does anyone have Tamiya USA's phone number (the web site isn't loading at the moment) so I can call them anf hope they have a set, or does anyone have a spare, complete, set I can have/buy?

If you cannot get replacements from Tamiya America. Get some Microscale liquid decal film. It will save them and it leaves no brush marks. Note that that kit was made at a time when Tamiya was having some problems with decals cracking and this not typical for Tamiya. Don't apply them cracked it will drive you crazy chasing the pieces around.

I have over 30 unbuilt kits in my closet and I keep all the decal sheets inside a big ziplock bag hoping I will not have this problem.
So far so good.

Cool, thanks guys. I guess it's off to the hobby shop tomorrow...oh darn.
As for the problem with it cracking...I've never had this problem(until now), but I have heard of it happening to others. Just couldn't remember if there was a fix or not. Thanks.
