1999 grand am security question

i have a 1999 grand am and it dosnt have an alarm but every now and then when i lock the doors the park lights will blink and it will beep like and alarm system any one elase have this problem ?

When this happens, did you lock them from the door switch and then walk away? There is a delay lock option that would do this in this situation.


There is a way to change how your doors and lights act when you lock the vehicle with the remote. Instructions on changing the settings (very easy) are in the owner's manual.

well it dosnt have remote locks that is what is so strange about it

1. it beeps and blinks if u remote lock it from outside.
2. it beeps and blinks if u push the lock button ONCE, not TWICE and then get out of the car. u push the lock button TWICE, once itll make a noise, then again and it will lock all the doors. nothin strange bout it.
