I have a 95 GSR with a 97motor, last night my friends were messing with my car, peeling out in my car etc, one guy pulled up the emergency brake, revved up to 5000 rpm and let go of the clutch, he locked up the wheels for a while then the car stalled, he claims he never took his foot off the gas. he did this twice and both times died out.
now when i drive my car it vibrates and shakes, especially around 40mph, but above 65mph-80mph the shaking is light but i can still hear a clicking noise. the weird thing is my steering wheel does not shake and the car still goes straight, just shakes. i took it to a shop and the guy said maybe its the tires, so i rotated front to back and its still the same. could it be my motor mounts or something? the thing my car still shakes even in neutral. ill go to 45 mph and it starts to shake, i put it in neutral and it still shakes, so that cant be motor mounts then can it since my engine isnt revving? car doesnt shake in idle, only in movement. any ideas?? dont want to go to a shop and then have them fix something that wont solve the problem.

damn why you let your friends do that to your car? i dont even let my freinds touch my stereo. but neways your car could have been stalling because your friend took it past redline, hitting the revlimiter..... right...? im not too sure about that i never really hit my revlimiter.... but i have no idea why your car would be shaking... maybe a bent rod....

yeah friends can get dumb sometimes. a guy told me that hes pretty positive its my bearings? since at high speeds the vibration is minimal meaning it skips over the cracks or broken bearing but higher in lower speeds. since the shaking only occurs when the wheels are spinning it seems to make sense?

Try balancing your Wheels.....I have done it a few time and threw the balance of my wheels off and the same thing happend where I can feel the shaking of my car around 40mph....Hope that helps.

couldnt be a rod if it only vibrates when the car is in motion

had my mechanic friend look at it, turns out to be a bent axle. put it on jackstands and revved a lil, the wheel would turn and the axle has a bend that u can see which actually moves the engine up and down a little. also the axle busted my transmission seal or something so tranny oil or whatever sprayed all over the bottom of my car. damn this sucks
