ok, so i was talkin to my brother about this rabbit.. he says to me, your not gonna drive it untill u fix the fuel pump! well the problem with it is, that the hose from the fuel pum to the block is made of metal and , unfortunatley, is all rusted.. so it spits fuel everywhere.. i dont wanna use this car as a field car, if it leaks.. no fires needed here.. :banghead:... so.. can anyone tell me at least where this hose is.. and what is an easy way to fix it... without buying a new 1? thanks guys

Cut The Metal Line Near Rear In Line Filter Using A Pipe Cutter. Then Run Good Rubber Fuel Line With Hose Clamps. Tried And True. Dont Drive Over Any Campfires.

You can buy a new attachment at any parts store... just tell em what you have and what you need exactly, they can find it... If the inlet on the fuel pump on that one is all one piece, then just replace the fuel pump. Problem solved. Also, if i were you... if you do replace the fuel line itself with a rubber one, I would use a high pressure hose, not just a regular fuel line. Those are good for short distances, but on a fuel injected car, specially if you have the High pressure Motronic system, the pressure in that long of a rubber hose will or may eventually make it pop off or expand and weaken. Try getting fittings that screw on, or high pressure hose with braided support. Also make sure those clamps are tight(if you should go that route)
