Ground points?

Hi,

Can one of u guys tell me where the ground points are on the D15 1.5 liter engine.
I know there is one on the valve cover to the chassi.
Also there is one on where the clutch cable goes right?
It comes from the negative battery cable?
My valve cover one to the chassi isnt on there really tight because i think it stripped the bolt.
If it isnt on there really thight and snug (u can move it with your hand back and forth)
could this cause the alternator not to charge and my check engine light go on?

Thanks

Bad grounds can cause problems with the electrical system. There is the valve cover to left front engine compartment & Battery to r. front inner fender to transmission. There are many other grounds on the car

Ok.
well the ground cable from the valve cover to front of chassis was stripperd (bolt was) so it wasnt puttin it down tight.
You could easily move it with your hand.
So I just took the ground wire and put it through the bolt that goes to the radiator hold down bracket.
It holds it down real tight and you cant move it anymore.
this should ground it good I hope.
The other one is on real tight right by the tranny and clutch cable bracket.
Thanks

your alt could just be bad, take it down to your local parts store, they should be able to test whether the alt is good or not
