Does anyone know if there is a way to obtain English translations of Sakatsu instructions? I have an Enzo Ferrari set here, entirely in Japanese.

I'm taking a guess he's actually referring to the Sakatsu detailing set for the Enzo?
Just a guess though....

Either way, English instructions for the Enzo model kit are easy to get a hold of, English instructions for the Sakatsu stuff on the other hand are virtually non-existant, not one Sakatsu item I have comes with English instructions (and I have a small pile of Sakatsu stuff here).

Oh, before I forget, Hi Freakmech

Yes, it's the Sakatsu instructions that are in Japanese. Sounds like I'll have to find someone to translate them.

It's clear what some of the photoetch parts are, but others are obscure.

Which detail set do you have? Sakatsu makes more than one for this model. Also which parts do you need identified?

It's the Sakatsu set with the photoetch parts. I understand parts 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 10, 14, 15, 16. The rest I do not understand.

Agree! those whose work in Sakatsu or even Acu.Stion don't speak english...But most of the time, illustration that show in instruction is clear enough.

The only illustrations for photoetch parts are for parts 1, 2, and 3.

Make use of this Forum.
Just post scanned pic, and ask for translation.
I can translate, or when I can't, someone else would.

Thanks, Hiroaki! Here is a good scan of the instructions. Let me know if you need a better one.

Edited to add: Hmm, I can't see the image. Can anyone else? I attached it with the Attachment Manager.

The image is too big for the forum, so I put it in my web space. Just save the target as..., or open in new window and save.

please ask here, and I'll update the pic.
